35+ years of hands-on trade experience • Trust • Reliability • Attention to detail
DK Home Services is owned and operated by David Koche.
David began working in the trades at age 18 in 1988, starting as an electrician with BARCO Electric in St. Petersburg, Florida. His early experience began with residential electrical work and later expanded into commercial electrical work.
Over more than 35 years in the trades, that experience expanded into plumbing, framing, drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, painting, appliance repair and general residential remodeling. Electrical and flooring remain particular strengths, along with the ability to coordinate the different trades required to complete larger projects.
For most of his career, David worked for other companies while continuing to build experience across different areas of construction and home repair. At the beginning of COVID, he decided to take a chance and begin working for himself. DK Home Services developed a growing base of repeat customers, referrals and new customers looking for dependable home repair and remodeling help.
The most important part of working in someone's home begins with trust. Customers need to feel comfortable with the person they allow into their home and confident that they will be treated fairly. Honesty, ethical service, reliability, communication, attention to detail and customer satisfaction are central to how DK Home Services operates.
The goal is not simply to finish the job, but to leave the customer comfortable with both the work performed and the person who performed it.
